THE TALE OF A TAROT MAN

Well there was this tarot man who would sit outside a casino and would predict the fortunes of those who used to punt inside the casino. He had made a living out of it and his calls would always be for making the punters feel good and keep his pockets full. But most of the predictions would come out false and he wouldn’t care for it as he ignored what happened inside to those who took his calls…and then he tried his luck………….

You Placed Your Cards
Beside The Doors
Of The Gambling Hall
With Your Mesmeric Eyes
You Prophesized
They’d Rise
When you’d see
Nothing at All

But You Never Tried To Grasp
Whether You Got It Right
Or The Wheels Had Caught You Wrong
You Got Your Buck `N`
You Couldn’t Care More
Whether They’d Lose a Trifle
Or They’d Lose Their All

You Dint Heed
The Alarm Bell
It Had To Catch Up

So You Had No Clue
What You Were In For
When You Tried
Your Luck inside The Den
It Kept Coming Up As ‘Four’
When you’d Keep Calling Up For ‘Ten’

Neither Did Your Cards Come Off Then
Nor Did the Stars You Had Gazed
For It’s a Made up Game
Than The Simple Deals
N` The Fortune U Foretell

Now You Feel
The Pinch of It
As You Squandered
Every Inch of It
You Took Them for a Ride
Now They Hang Around
To Get Back At You When
You Join Them in an Abyss
